Physician (Telemedicine) β Part-Time | USA (Remote/Hybrid)
Job Summary HireOn is partnering with a leading healthcare provider in the United States to onboard experienced and patient-focused Physicians for a part-time telemedicine role. This opportunity enables physicians to deliver high-quality virtual care while maintaining flexibility and work-life balance.
The role is primarily remote, with potential hybrid engagements where required. Physicians will play a key role in improving healthcare accessibility, particularly in underserved and addiction treatment areas, using advanced telehealth platforms.
Qualifications
β’ Active and unrestricted medical license in a minimum of three U.S. states (preference for five or more).
β’ Must hold licenses in key states such as California, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, or Texas (any combination preferred).
β’ Willingness to obtain additional state licenses (costs and support provided).
β’ Valid DEA certification; Controlled Substance License (CSL) where applicable.
β’ Proven experience in telehealth environments or high-volume clinical practice.
β’ Availability to commit at least 15 hours per week during core hours (8 AM β 6 PM local time) across a minimum of four days.
β’ Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-first mindset.
β’ Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and telemedicine tools (training can be provided).
β’ Demonstrated interest in enhancing healthcare access and contributing to impactful care delivery.
Responsibilities
β’ Conduct virtual consultations, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and diagnosis.
β’ Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans aligned with patient needs.
β’ Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results to support clinical decisions.
β’ Prescribe medications responsibly, including buprenorphine for opioid use disorder (excluding other controlled substances).
β’ Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build strong therapeutic relationships.
β’ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff.
β’ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure continuity of care.
β’ Stay updated with evolving medical practices, telehealth technologies, and regulatory guidelines.
