Physician Support Specialist â Pulmonology
Join our team as a Physician Support Specialist in Pulmonology, where you will help expand access to critical therapies by building strong relationships with physician offices and delivering knowledgeable, serviceâdriven support. In this role, youâll drive growth through strategic outreach, education, and partnershipâall centered on improving patient care.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a territory strategy to grow new and existing business through proactive outreach.
Articulate Accredoâs programs and services to drive engagement and strengthen customer relationships.
Conduct outbound and inbound calls to qualify prospects, generate leads, and close opportunities.
Collaborate crossâfunctionally with internal partners to support daily territory activities and ensure alignment.
Build and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, clients, and payers to assess needs and create solutions.
Serve as a subject matter expert on product rollouts, crossâfunctional initiatives, and internal partner support.
Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and external meetings as needed.
Deliver external presentations to support business development and physician engagement efforts.
Partner with account executives to develop and present strategies that reduce administrative burden and improve clinical outcomes in assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; experience in healthcare or sales support preferred.
Strong analytical and problemâsolving abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work crossâfunctionally to resolve client issues and support operational needs.
Strong customerâservice orientation.
Ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines in a fastâpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelorâs degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
Knowledge of the healthcare or PBM industry.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
