[Remote] Mining Operations Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Canaan Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mining Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their crypto mining facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance and efficiency, managing relationships with vendors and troubleshooting technical issues.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Oversee mining hardware performance, energy consumption, and operational uptime, maintaining efficiency across all facilities
ā¢ Actively manage relationships with external vendors, site operation teams, and other counter parties to ensure seamless daily operations
ā¢ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime
ā¢ Collaborate with the Technical Operations Specialist for equipment upgrades and performance analysis
ā¢ Maintain accurate records of operational performance and generate reports to inform decision-making and strategy development
Skills
ā¢ Proven experience in managing large-scale operations, preferably in crypto mining, data center, or high-tech industries
ā¢ Strong technical background with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
ā¢ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
ā¢ Strong communication skills, with experience coordinating with vendors, technical specialists, and internal teams
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle unexpected challenges proactively
ā¢ Ability to business travels
