Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.#everydaybetterKey job responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of 10-25 direct reports within Pharmacy Operations. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of department performance at the siteKnow which decisions to make independently and which need approval; pursue approval and get other stakeholders in alignmentResponsible for meeting our customers’ needs by planning and implementing processes and procedures that will improve the department’s results and improve efficienciesInterview, hire, and support documented training experiences for all team members in partnership with Recruiting, Human Resources, and Training teamsDevelop team members by providing mentorship, educational opportunities, and progressive growth opportunitiesResponsible for the performance management and accountability of the team members within the departmentChallenges best practices to invent novel ways of solving a problem. Operates with intent, succinctly sets relevant context and summary of purposeMaintain regular check ins with Direct ReportsResponsible for ensuring accurate staffing, hiring, and scheduling to meet company goals and forecasted budgetFrequently identifies opportunities for improvement based on data inputs and performs deep dive analysis to identify and solve for root-cause of problemsActs quickly to uncover any potential areas of risk or opportunity; proactively communicates relevant issues with appropriate recommendationsConsistently maintain and/or exceed department’s defined operational goals. Provides senior leadership with business review data, identifying highlights and areas for improvementCollaborate and partner with key stakeholders and leaders across multiple departments and locations, in order to remove roadblocks, increase productivity, and define workflowsConsult and collaborate with product team to prioritize and drive Roadmap initiativesExecute Company objectives through Amazon Leadership Principles as they relate to the department’s functionLeverages subject matter expertise in multiple areas including but not limited to: 1) organizational product, partner, and process initiatives, 2) Compliance and 3) QualitySupport pharmacy interns with career and professional developmentDevelop relationships with pharmacy schools to host students and create unique learning experiencesAccomplish all other required tasks as noted above or assigned by senior leadershipBASIC QUALIFICATIONSDoctorate or Bachelor’s Degree in PharmacyAbility to work from the Amazon Pharmacy facilityActive and unrestricted Pharmacist License in domicile stateActive and unrestricted Pharmacist License in a minimum of 8 out of 17 US states which require a Non-resident PIC license, or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months in role. PIC will assign the 8 state licenses based on what is currently needed for redundancy purposes. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $178,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
