About the position

As a Personal Cruise Consultant at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., you will play a pivotal role in promoting sales directly to consumers. Your primary responsibility will be to initiate calls and act on leads to identify travel needs, present and explain Norwegian Cruise Line products, and make tailored travel recommendations. You will establish and maintain quality customer relationships by delivering exceptional service, building rapport, and ensuring that customer needs and expectations are met. This includes meeting customer retention goals and following up with consumers as necessary to close sales and exceed revenue targets. In this position, you will build and maintain effective relationships with both new and existing consumers. You will be responsible for maintaining a prospect list and contact database to identify client travel trends. Proactively seeking opportunities to promote and sell Norwegian Cruise Line products based on client travel history will be essential. You will also acquire in-depth industry and company knowledge to articulate cruise product features, benefits, pricing, and make recommendations, including promotions, itineraries, and auxiliary products such as stateroom upgrades and onboard credits. Participation in daily team meetings and relevant sales training will be crucial to ensure that appropriate sales techniques are being used and accurate information is communicated to direct consumers. Additionally, you will participate in department-approved mass email campaigns targeting specific guest profiles and perform other job-related functions as assigned.

• Performs other job-related functions as assigned.

Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred.

• Minimum one year of sales experience; 2 years sales experience preferred. Cruise sales experience is a plus.
,
• Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and internally.
,
• Strong working knowledge of Norwegian Cruise Line's products, including the current fleet and ship itineraries.

• Ability to multi-task and work in a high-energy sales environment that is goal/quota driven.

• Adherence to a strictly enforced dress code.
