Per Diem Pharmacist

Mixlab, the fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is hiring a Staff Pharmacist in our Los Angeles pharmacy. We are looking for a Compounding Pharmacist who is obsessed with details and is driven by an ability to #makeithappen for our customers and their furry (and scaly!) friends no matter what. You will be an integral part in helping us to ensure our LA operations run smoothly, and to make Mixlab a 100% dependable resource for our customers and veterinarians alike.Must be available to work 2 days out of the week including Saturday and Sunday at minimum. Compensation is $60 per hour. Responsibilities: Compound non-sterile pharmaceutical preparations, including but not limited to the compounding of capsules, tablets, oral liquids and topical medications.Compound medications, fill and label prescriptions, and package medications - in other words, full-service compounding from chemicals to packaging.Counsel clients on different medications, needs, usages, and instructions.Keep accurate records and monitor inventory levels in accordance with USP 795, State Board of Pharmacy regulations and company policies and procedures.Collaborate with the development team to provide guidance on product features, participating in sales activities such as calling or visiting veterinary clinics.Perform Care Pharmacist duties on an as needed basis About You: You are a licensed pharmacist in CA, in good standing with all State Boards of PharmacyYou have formal training in non-sterile compounding or equivalent experienceYou have 2+ years of experience in non-sterile compounding, with preference given to veterinary compounding experienceYour attention to detail is impeccable, and you have incredibly high standards for accuracy and qualityYou are collaborative and have a desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, startup environment What we offer: Paid sick time off.
