Pediatric Speech Pathology Work From Home - AL
A remote opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver teletherapy services within educational environments. This position accommodates both full-time and part-time schedules, supporting students through virtual platforms while enabling professional flexibility.
Key responsibilities include:
ā¢ Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and individualized therapy sessions remotely
ā¢ Collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop tailored treatment plans
ā¢ Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal guidelines
ā¢ Utilizing digital tools effectively for therapy delivery and record management
ā¢ Staying current with best practices and continuing education in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
Qualifications:
ā¢ Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
ā¢ Active state license to practice as an SLP and/or ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
ā¢ Minimum of two years experience in school or pediatric settings, with a preference for teletherapy experience
ā¢ Competence in using technology for virtual therapy sessions and administrative tasks
ā¢ Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to engage students remotely
ā¢ A reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace are required
Location: Remote (with a focus on servicing students in the Opelika, AL area)
