Payment Associate

We would love to have you join our RCM team! This position is responsible for reconciling deposits from multiple sources to payments applied into the billing system. Must be able to correctly read EOB’s. Position also requires excellent organization skills and ability to solve problems and make decisions throughout the workday. Scanning, transferring files and other general office duties will also be required. Duties and Responsibilities Maintaining reconciliation and tracking logs in Excel Reconcile bank deposits to ERA, Lockbox and Credit card deposits received Downloading and transferring electronic payment files Utilize various bank and payer websites Scanning EOB’s into system Daily Balancing Month End reporting Preferred experience with payments from: Bank Lockbox Electronic Remittance Advice Credit Card Merchants Critical Success Factors: Logical thinking and problem-solving skills Great attention to detail Ability to manage data from multiple resources Ability to handle repetitive tasks Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines Ability to communicate effectively with employees of organization Requirements: Education: High school diploma or GED (required). 2 years experience insurance payment posting Ability to define challenges, analyze problems, and suggest solutions in a proactive and positive manner High attention to detail in fast paced and dynamic environment Experience in Microsoft Office Basic knowledge of accounting principles and fundamentals Proficient in Excel (to include pivot tables, sumif, vlookup etc..)
