Remote Family Nurse Practitioner – Virtual Urgent Care (Part-Time & Full-Time | Weekend Coverage Available)

What You’ll Do: • Provide virtual urgent care to patients of all ages — newborns to adults • Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic conditions (e.g. colds, rashes, UTIs, sore throats, COVID, diabetes, hypertension, depression, anxiety) • Conduct 15-minute video visits using our EMR system (Athena) • Prescribe medications, order labs (via LabCorp or Quest), and offer wellness counseling • Refer patients to appropriate care when needed What We’re Looking For: • Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited FNP program • Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) and RN licenses (multi-state licenses highly preferred) • Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC) • Minimum 3 years of post-training experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care • Comfortable seeing patients across all age groups • Active Medicare status; in good standing with Medicare/Medicaid DirectShifts is an Equal Opportunity Employer All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
