- Place and receive phone calls to/from patients to gather payment for medical expenses
- Collect demographic, insurance, and relevant information from patients, documenting appropriately in internal technology platforms
- Educate patients on the healthcare revenue cycle and repayment programs to enhance their financial well-being
- Research and resolve patient questions or concerns using web-based tools and internal platforms
- Maintain and evolve knowledge of the processes and procedures of the employer's clients
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service capacity
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a call center environment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical/insurance coding and billing
- Must reside in Wisconsin, Michigan, or Iowa if working from home
