Part-time Wordpress Developer (20 hrs/week)

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Full Stack WordPress Developer to become a part of our B2B Web Marketing team. In this role, you will manage the entire WordPress development process—from initial requirements to the launch of reliable and high-performing web solutions. You will collaborate closely with our design, content, engineering, and marketing teams to create outstanding web experiences that align with our strategic vision.

This is a fully remote, part-time job.

Your Responsibilities:
• Oversee every phase of WordPress development, guaranteeing that our websites are secure, scalable, and deliver top-notch performance.
• Partner with various departments to grasp their goals and convert them into visually appealing and functional web solutions.
• Build customized WordPress themes and plugins to fit our needs, ensuring they meet top standards of quality and efficiency.
• Enhance website performance through code reviews, A/B tests, and continuous updates, focusing on speed, reliability, and user experience.
• Apply SEO best practices within WordPress to boost visibility and search engine rankings.
• Ensure seamless experiences across all devices and browsers, maintaining consistent quality.
• Maintain compliance with the latest security protocols and standards to keep our websites secure.

What You'll Need to Succeed:
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in full-stack WordPress development, with a portfolio that highlights your expertise.
• Advanced skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, enabling you to write clean, effective, and maintainable code.
• Expertise in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins, with a solid grasp of the WordPress environment.
• Experience in assessing new web projects, including offering time estimates for development tasks.
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, transforming mockups into fully interactive web pages.
• Strong knowledge of current accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusivity in web design.
• An eye for detail, ensuring that each part of the website is precisely aligned and meets high standards.
• Proven experience in implementing SEO strategies tailored to WordPress environments.
• Excellent communication skills, facilitating collaboration with both technical and non-technical team members.
• A proactive attitude, with a drive to continuously learn and stay updated on the latest web development trends and technologies.
