As a Part-Time Trainer, you will play a crucial role in the Training Department, working closely with the team to deliver high-quality, engaging, and objective-based training and consulting services to Aeries districts. This position requires a strong and diverse skillset, including subject matter expertise in key SIS functional areas such as Scheduling, Data Management, Teacher gradebook management, and state reporting. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver effective, participant-centered training on a variety of outlined and custom topics to Aeries customers in various formats (multi-district webinars, single-district webinars, onsite training, workshops, sales demos, etc.) Adapt training materials and methods to meet the diverse needs of participants Continually learn and master the latest features of Aeries, as well as actively engage in ongoing discussions on Aeries development Assist with the creation of accurate and comprehensive on-demand training resources for Aeries districts, including documentation and videos Participate in presenting at annual AeriesCon events About You and Your Superpowers To succeed in this role, you will need to possess certain superpowers, including: Empathy for customers and team members Attention to detail Clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communications Flexibility and adaptability Required Knowledge and Experience The ideal candidate will have: Professionalism, with a high level of skill, judgment, and behavior expected when working in a front-facing capacity with customers Expressive and clear communication skills, both orally and in writing/presentation materials, with comfort in front of large audiences Extensive knowledge of Aeries, with experience in the technical and practical functions and processes, allowing for training on a wide variety of topics in either California or Texas Strong experience in Student Scheduling theory and mechanics, standards-based grade reporting theory and practices, and data analytics (strongly preferred) Position Details and Work Environment This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position, with a competitive hourly rate of $48.00 - $80.00, based on experience and skill set. Our HQ is located in Orange, CA, but remote work is available. You will be expected to commit to travel throughout California and/or Texas, providing dynamic and effective training to diverse trainee groups in various formats and venues. Physical Requirements and Travel The role requires prolonged periods of driving within the territory, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer. You will need to be able to commit to travel, which may include overnight stays, to deliver training sessions and participate in events.
