MERIT is looking for a Seasonal, Part-Time, Customer Experience Associate to join our best-in-class Customer Experience team. The part-time role will primarily focus on day-to-day customer-related inquiries across emails, chat, and all social platforms. Hours may vary from 10-29 hours per week. This role is required to work during holidays, evenings and weekends, as needed. This is a seasonal position and is scheduled to end on January 9, 2026. Responsibilities: • Provide inbound customer support via email, chat, and all social platforms • Assist all customers and potential customers in a kind and professional manner using company procedures • Assess all in-bound tickets to accurately and efficiently address customer's specific needs while maintaining a strong customer focus • Respond to all customer comments and DMs across social platforms in a timely and customer focused manner • Place orders and process refunds using company systems • Work collaboratively with external and internal teams on cross-functional projects, product launches and updates related to customer service Qualifications: • Required 2+ years experience in Customer Service across various channels (email, chat, social, etc.) • Required expertise in Gladly (or similar) and Shopify • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and slack (preferred) • Proficiency with Web Browsers (Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari) • Proficiency with all Social platforms (Instagram, TikTok and Meta) • Extensive knowledge of customer support best practices • Proven ability to resolve challenging customers issues promptly and de-escalate customer concerns • Experience working efficiently with a remote workforce, with the ability to be self-directed • Reliable internet and laptop computer The hourly rate for this role is $23.00 per hour.
