Remote Accounting Support (Flexible Hours) Full-Time / Part Time
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Accounting Support Specialist to assist our finance and accounting team. This role is fully remote and offers flexible hours, making it ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing accounting tasks independently. You will support bookkeeping, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting functions.
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Assist with data entry of financial transactions and records
ā¢ Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
ā¢ Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor accounts
ā¢ Help prepare and maintain monthly financial reports
ā¢ Process invoices, receipts, and expense reimbursements
ā¢ Assist with budget tracking, audit preparation, and financial documentation
ā¢ Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial data
ā¢ Collaborate with accountants or finance managers to ensure compliance and accuracy
Requirements:
ā¢ Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support roles
ā¢ Working knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, or similar)
ā¢ Strong organizational and time management skills
ā¢ Basic understanding of financial reporting and general accounting principles
ā¢ Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets)
ā¢ Reliable internet connection and secure, distraction-free home office
Preferred Qualifications:
ā¢ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
ā¢ Familiarity with payroll, tax filings, or expense management (a plus)
