About the position
The Part-Time Professional Tutor at Southwest Tennessee Community College is responsible for providing academic support to students in various subject areas. Responsibilities
Ā Attend mandatory training sessions as required by CRLA.

Ā Maintain tutoring records in TutorTrac software.

Ā Be punctual and maintain work schedule.

Ā Provide, plan, and facilitate study sessions to students as needed.
,
Ā Communicate with supervisory personnel and instructors as needed.
,
Ā Assist students in troubleshooting computer-related questions, such as emails and course management systems.

Ā Work with in-house reference library including checking in and out textbooks and materials.
Requirements
Ā Earned an Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.

Ā Experience working with students.

Ā Computer skills.

Ā Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
