Are you organized, detail-oriented, and looking for a flexible part-time role? Our Pittsfield client is seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant to provide essential administrative support to keep their operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities



Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism



Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, and data entry



Enter purchase orders into QuickBooks



Assist with shipping documentation, including familiarity with Shipping Notices and Bills of Lading (a strong plus)



Provide office coverage during staff vacations and absences



Support day-to-day administrative needs as they arise




Schedule & Flexibility



Part-time, typically 1 50;2 days per week



Mondays required most weeks



Additional hours may be available to provide vacation coverage or during busy periods




Qualifications



Previous office/clerical experience preferred



Basic QuickBooks knowledge required; purchase order entry experience a plus



Strong phone etiquette and communication skills



Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing schedules



Familiarity with shipping and logistics documentation (preferred, but not required)
