Part-Time High School Math Tutor (Pre-Algebra & Algebra 1) - Remote Opportunity

Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time High School Math Tutor to join our team of educators at Tutoring of Nashville. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and families by providing in-home, one-on-one tutoring in Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1. Responsibilities: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students Empathize with students and employ creative strategies to overcome math-related challenges Utilize our proprietary Tutor Doctor Platform to plan and deliver lessons, as well as post-session reports Effectively balance tutoring hours and manage student enrollment packages Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients and respond to concerns, questions, and requests in a professional manner Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, with a preference for tutoring or teaching experience in specialized education fields Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are highly valued Strong administration skills, including basic database management and data entry Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles and personalities Reliable transportation, current car insurance, and access to a computer, internet, and smartphone About Our Student: We are seeking a tutor for a positive and energetic high school student who requires grade-level math and homework assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient, creative, assertive, and able to keep the student engaged and challenged. This is a part-time opportunity, with one 60-minute session per week.
