PART-TIME Dental AR Specialist - 1099 Independent Contractor

Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Location: Fully Remote Trial Period: 90-day trial engagement We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Insurance Billing Contractor to assist with insurance aging reports and daily claim submissions. This is a fully remote, independent contractor role. We take pride in the quality of our work and have established protocols that must be followed carefully. Because of this, training is required, and the selected contractor will begin slowly with one client to ensure accuracy and consistency. What to expect: We set a weekly quota of claims to be worked on for each of our client offices. Interested individual will be able to expect to set their own hours, as long as you are available at least 5-8 hours during business hours for claims that require a follow-up by phone, and most importantly can meet our quota consistently. Trial Period: This position will begin with a 90-day trial period. Performance, accuracy, and adherence to protocols will be evaluated during this time before offering a longer-term engagement. Equipment requirements: We require that you have a desktop computer with high-speed, active anti-virus, and secured internet. We recommend a dual-monitor setup. Windows operating system is required with Microsoft-365 license. This is a 1099 contract position. Required experience: • 2+yrs in an administrative level position • Proficient in Dentrix G Series • EOB posting • Appeals • DentaQuest limitations/requirements • Medicaid laws for dental billing • Attaching supporting information • Generating Narratives • Verify accuracy of postings Additional Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in dental insurance billing • Fluent in dental terminology • Strong leader skills • Strong organizational skills • Detail-oriented • Efficient at multitasking • Critical thinking • Recently active in the Dental field (in the past 6months) • Strong working and moral ethics • Self-Motivated • Strong time management • You can pass a background test Compensation: • Our contractors are compensated base on a fixed percent of the client invoice. Current position is estimated to start you at $500-1,000 per month.
