Establish and enforce rules and boundaries of behavior for children in their classrooms. We have a very structured classroom environment.
Able to maintain professional standards with children, colleagues, and parents.
Will learn and utilize the Montessori method to guide children, use resources, and explore during learning and play activities.
Position Expectations:
Monday-Friday
3:30 - 5:30 Afternoons
Ability to be on your feet.
Ability to lift and move.
Ability to conduct chores apart from childcare (cleaning, etc.)
Willingness to engage with young children and other staff members.
Requirements:
Ages 18 or older
High School Diploma or GED
CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to be certified.
Experience with children (preferred but not required)
Salary: $14 per hourPLEASE NOTE: Applicants who are offered employment will be required to pass a post-offer pre-employment background process that includes passing a Basic TB and fingerprint test and completing an online training program.
