Paralegal – Estate Planning
Job Description:
• Draft and prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
• Collect, review, and organize critical client information, such as asset inventories, personal details, and financial documentation.
• Prepare legal correspondence, summaries, and communications in both English and Spanish.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients (particularly Spanish-speaking clients) to gather information, schedule meetings, and provide status updates.
• Maintain organized and legally compliant client files, ensuring the highest level of confidentiality.
• Conduct research on estate planning regulations and procedures in the U.S.
• Coordinate notarizations, witness signings, and formal execution of legal documents; track deadlines and appointments to ensure compliance with timelines.
Requirements:
• Fluent bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal in estate planning in the U.S.
• Technical certificate or bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience drafting wills and trusts and solid knowledge of probate and estate administration processes.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters under tight deadlines.
