Paralegal
Intelligence Federal is a respected federal contracting company seeking an experienced Paralegal with strong writing skills to support a federal government agency.Our company was voted one of the Best Places to Work in Washington, DC by the Washington Business Journal in 2024.Location: Fully Remote within US or territoriesCommitment: 40 hours per week during business hours. Contract length: Approximately 12 months with the possibility to extendJOB DUTIES:Review and analyze submitted documentation, case files and dataPrepare well-reasoned written findings and recommendations, often reaching 2-4 pages in lengthEnsure policy and regulatory compliance in each caseSupport internal decision-making and maintain accurate case recordsCommunicate with internal and external partners as neededPrepare and maintain all required documentation using agency provided templates and other guidanceMeet defined quality standards while managing multiple casesLeverage the Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Office, Project, Visio,Power Platform, etc. to improve, automate, and execute business processesRecommend process improvements, as appropriate, to prevent errors or bottlenecks and enhance efficiency REQUIREMENTS:The candidate MUST:Be able to pass a Public Trust Background checkBe physically located within the United States or its official territories or holdingsBe legally authorized to work in the United StatesHave a minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceDemonstrate a minimum of four (4) years supporting the development of final agency determinations or similar documentsHave a proven ability to review case files and produce analysis of information in written formBe able to make decisions and perform required functions independentlyHave a Paralegal or equivalent legal experiencePossess strong writing skills with an excellent grasp of the English language and grammar rules John J.
