Associate Risk Analyst

The Hartford is an insurance company committed to making a difference, and they are seeking an Associate Risk Analyst to join their Enterprise Risk Management department. This role involves analyzing market risk reports, supporting the production of risk dashboards, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance risk management processes. Responsibilities Analyze and publish daily Market Risk Portal (Tableau) which includes enterprise economic mark-to-market of the company’s balance sheet, Historical Value at Risk (HVaR) and Risk Monitors Coordinate with key input providers for Market Risk stress test exposures in accordance to the Company’s Risk Appetite Assist in facilitating the Market Risk Dashboard monthly review Collaborate with input providers across the enterprise on a monthly basis to create the Executive Risk Dashboard for various market, insurance and operational risk metrics Maintain team SharePoint site, including documents and calendar Provide ad-hoc analysis as requested Continuously improve production process efficiencies and controls Skills Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science or other related degree program Experience in risk/financial reporting Working knowledge of financial markets Strong quantitative, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau and SharePoint skills Ability to work both independently and in a team settings, shift priorities and manage multiple tasks Demonstrates leadership capabilities through team effort, initiative, customer service and integrity TM1 working knowledge Benefits Short-term or annual bonuses Long-term incentives On-the-spot recognition Company Overview The Hartford is an industry leading provider of property and casualty insurance, group benefits and mutual funds.
