Paid Search Manager
Job Description:
• Develop and own strategic campaign roadmaps for each client, defining platform mix, targeting strategies, and a clear testing and optimization plan.
• Execute and iterate on our proven industry-specific playbooks for Family Law, adapting them to individual client needs while upholding company best practices and First Principles.
• Ideate, test, and evaluate experiments designed to improve client performance.
• Proactively manage monthly ad spend for each client, ensuring budgets are not just spent but optimized to deliver maximum return on ad spend.
• Analyze campaign performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
• Monitor KPIs and proactively identify opportunities for improvement or risk mitigation.
• Serve as the quality assurance lead for conversion tracking, ensuring data integrity and fast issue resolution.
• Audit internal and prospect accounts to validate strategy and identify opportunities for growth.
• Partner with the Paid Media Director to translate client goals into actionable campaign plans.
• Work with design and editing partners to ensure all creative assets are compelling, brand-aligned, and conversion-focused.
• Delegate and document tasks within Agile sprint planning, ensuring efficiency and clarity for support team members.
• Mentor junior specialists or supporting contributors, fostering development and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of team documentation, SOPs, and cross-functional communication.
• Maintain accurate sprint planning documentation and delegate tasks effectively across team members.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline workflows and reporting.
• Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and at expected quality standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in digital marketing; 3+ years specialized in paid media management
• Prior experience working within an agency or professional services environment
• Prior experience leading or mentoring contributors in an agency or team environment
• Demonstrated success managing monthly ad spend exceeding $100,000 across multiple accounts
• Technical excellence across all relevant paid media platforms/channels
• Experience supporting local lead generation-focused clients preferred, especially within competitive verticals like Family Law.
