Organ Donation Coordinator [ICU RN, CC RN or RT] - 36 hours a week/ NIGHTS - Portland, ME
About the position Requirements • Optimal candidates have critical care or trauma experience with medical/clinical credentials including experience managing complicated clinical event • Must have valid driver’s license and insurance (extensive driving throughout New England is required) and have reliable transportation. • Critical thinking skills and keen clinical assessment skills • Be compassionate and have conflict resolution skills • Able to sit, stand or bend for extended period of time • Have great work ethic and be forward thinking • This position requires travel to Waltham Headquarters and various hospitals throughout New England • Candidates will be required to travel by personal vehicle to meet the duties and responsibilities of this position. Must maintain the requirements of an “eligible driver” including being at least 21 years old, maintaining an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and required minimum personal automobile insurance per NEDS automobile policy. • 3-5 years clinical experience/critical care experience • Ideal candidates lives within a 30 Mile radius of Portland, ME • In order to be employed at NEDS, you must be vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19.
