Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Inventory (INV), Bill of Materials (BOM), and Oracle Financial modules. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, support, and enhancement of Oracle applications, ensuring seamless integration between Supply Chain and Finance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities β Inventory (INV)
β’ Gather and analyze business requirements related to inventory management.
β’ Configure Inventory setups including:
β’ Item Master
β’ Organizations & Sub-inventories
β’ Stock Locators
β’ Min-Max Planning
β’ Replenishment Planning
β’ Cycle Counting & Physical Inventory
β’ Configure transaction types, costing, and material movement processes.
β’ Support inter-org transfers, consignment inventory, and inventory valuation.
β’ Perform system testing (SIT/UAT) and provide post-go-live support.
Functional Responsibilities β Bill of Materials (BOM)
β’ Configure and maintain:
β’ Bills of Materials
β’ Routings
β’ Resources
β’ Departments
β’ Support product structure definition and engineering changes.
β’ Work closely with manufacturing teams for:
β’ Work Orders
β’ Discrete Jobs
β’ Cost Rollups
β’ Ensure proper integration between BOM and Inventory.
β’ Support ECO (Engineering Change Order) processes.
Functional Responsibilities β Oracle Financial Modules
β’ Work on Financial modules such as:
β’ General Ledger (GL)
β’ Accounts Payable (AP)
β’ Accounts Receivable (AR)
β’ Fixed Assets (FA)
β’ Cash Management (CM)
β’ Configure accounting setups:
β’ Chart of Accounts
β’ Accounting Calendar
β’ Legal Entities & Ledgers
β’ Manage SLA (Subledger Accounting) configurations.
β’ Support inventory accounting, costing, and reconciliation processes.
β’ Work on period-end closing activities and financial reporting.
Integration Responsibilities:
β’ Ensure seamless integration between:
β’ INV β BOM
β’ INV β Costing
β’ INV β Financials (GL, AP, AR)
β’ Coordinate with technical teams for:
β’ Interface development
β’ Data migration
β’ Custom reports
β’ Support integration with external systems (WMS, 3PL, Manufacturing Systems).
Implementation & Support:
β’ Participate in full lifecycle implementations (Requirement β Go-live β Hypercare).
β’ Conduct workshops and CRP sessions.
β’ Prepare functional documents:
β’ BRD
β’ FDD
β’ Setup Documents
β’ Test Scripts
β’ Provide L2/L3 production support.
β’ Handle change requests and enhancements.
Required Skills:
β’ 5+ years of Oracle functional experience.
β’ Strong hands-on experience in INV, BOM & Financial modules.
β’ Strong understanding of:
β’ Supply Chain processes
β’ Manufacturing processes
β’ Financial accounting principles
β’ Experience in Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
