Senior SAP MM Consultant
cBEYONData is thrilled to invite a skilled and experienced Senior SAP Materials Management (MM) Consultant to be a key member of our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in configuring SAP MM functionalities for a Federal customer, with numerous opportunities for professional growth. Your contributions will be vital in Business Process Re-engineering sessions aimed at analyzing and redesigning existing ECC system processes, ensuring a smooth transition into a consolidated SAP S/4 environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and enhance existing SAP MM-related business processes and configurations in SAP ECC.
• Facilitate Business Process Re-engineering workshops to design the implementation of MM Master Data and Business Processes in SAP S/4.
• Research and apply best practices for successful implementation of processes in SAP S/4.
• Configure MM Master Data, Vendor Master Data, and end-to-end SAP MM capabilities in SAP S/4 IMG to meet established requirements.
• Demonstrate your configurations in SAP S/4 IMG to team members and offer recommendations for future enhancements.
• Maintain an updated configuration tasks plan in alignment with agile sprint cycles.
• Document all configuration activities comprehensively.
• Prepare and present status briefings to clients and program leads regarding your approaches and progress on implementations.
Required Skills & Experience:
• U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10 years of relevant experience in SAP MM.
• Lead configurator for at least 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP ECC6.0.
• A minimum of 5 years of practical SAP MM experience with in-depth knowledge of roles and tasks.
• Expertise in designing and configuring Material Master Data and Vendor Master Data.
• Experience with segmentation design and configuration.
• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies, especially bi-weekly sprints.
• Proven hands-on experience in configuring business processes in both SAP ECC and SAP S/4 IMG.
• Strong understanding of SAP Best Practices related to SAP MM.
• Expertise in the analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation of business solutions using SAP technologies.
• Proven experience in leading requirements analysis workshops with stakeholders, particularly in the Federal government sector.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, able to assess complex factors for effective solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage complex projects remotely.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and executive leadership.
• Self-motivated with the capability to manage tasks independently.
• A driven personality with a strong commitment to mission success.
