Optometrist (tele-health)

Santa Maria Optometry is a growing, patient-focused practice offering both in-person and remote eye care services. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Telehealth Optometrist to join our team and help expand access to high-quality vision care from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities: • Conduct virtual eye health evaluations and screenings via secure telehealth software • Provide remote consultations and follow-up care • Educate patients about their prescriptions, eye health, and preventative care • Document all visits accurately using our EMR system • Coordinate with our in-office team for referrals or in-person needs Requirements: • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree • Active California optometry license • Comfortable with digital tools and telehealth platforms • Strong communication skills and patient rapport • Ability to work independently with a high standard of care Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $475.00 per day Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: Remote
