Ops Manager - Remote

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Ops Manager for a 6 month contract. This fully remote role reports to the Director of Operations and will act as a key operational partner by prioritizing initiatives and ensuring execution across strategic and day-to-day activities. This position offers competitive, market-based compensation. Summary: We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Operations Manager to support the Director of Operations in driving key initiatives. This contract role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, making it ideal for someone who can take direction, prioritize tasks, and ensure initiatives are completed efficiently. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment and is comfortable managing multiple priorities, tracking progress, and maintaining tools such as SharePoint portals. Key Responsibilities: • Translate direction into clear, actionable priorities • Assess and prioritize operational and strategic initiatives • Manage and update tools including SharePoint, dashboards, and trackers • Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure follow-through • Coordinate across teams to align resources and remove blockers • Prepare executive summaries and status updates for leadership • Support process improvements and implement standard operating procedures • Manage ad hoc tasks and special projects Requirements: • Experience in operations, project management, or similar roles (preferred: Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Pharma) • Strong organizational and execution skills • Hands-on experience with SharePoint, project management tools, and operational tracking systems • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work across multiple functions • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational work • Comfortable in fast-paced, regulated environments with multiple competing priorities The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
