Operational Technology (OT) USB Removable Media Security Consultant
About the opportunity:
Cloud Security Services is seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) USB Removable Media Security Consultant to document and implement requirements in support of an enterprise scale technology selection and replacement effort for life sciences industry manufacturing sites. This is a 6-month remote project opportunity.
Responsibilities:
β’ * Define and document requirements for vendor and technology selection and implementation
β’ Partner with vendors to understand potential to meet requirements
β’ Partner with enterprise Engineering to support implementation of technology
Required Skills:
β’ 5+ yearsβ IT endpoint security experience at enterprise scale in an operational technology (OT) manufacturing environment
β’ Knowledge of industry leading USB and removable media security controls practices for endpoints
β’ Knowledge of cybersecurity control frameworks (e.g., NIST, CSF, NIST SP800-53, ISO 27002, etc.)
β’ Technical experience with endpoint security platforms
β’ Experience with Purdue Model for OT environments and its evolution
β’ Experience with vendor and technology selection
β’ Ability to collect and document technical requirements
β’ Experience partnering with vendors to verify ability to meet business and technical requirements
β’ Ability to evaluate and incorporate vendor release schedules into roadmaps
β’ Experience partnering with Engineering teams to define and document technology implementation
β’ Ability to manage aggressive business timelines and priorities
β’ Ability to work as liaison between business and information security/information technology
β’ Ability to interpret and leverage existing documentation
β’ Excellent analytical skills
β’ Collaborative team worker β both in person and virtually using MS Teams or similar
β’ Excellent documentation skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
β’ Flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones
β’ Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong spoken and written English
β’ Business outcomes mindset
β’ Solid balance of strategic thinking with detail orientation
β’ Self-starter, ability to take initiative
β’ Project management and organizational skills with attention to detail
