Online Data Typist

Job Title: Online Data TypistDepartment: Information TechnologyReports To: IT ManagerSummary:The Online Data Typist is responsible for entering data into computer systems and databases from home. This includes collecting, scanning, and digitizing data from a variety of sources, such as paper documents, spreadsheets, and images. The Online Data Typist must be accurate and efficient, and must be able to work independently.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Enter data into computer systems and databases from homeCollect, scan, and digitize data from a variety of sourcesMaintain detailed and organized records of data entriesVerify the accuracy of data entriesResolve data entry errorsWork independently and meet deadlinesFollow all company policies and proceduresQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1-2 years of experience in data entryExcellent typing skills (minimum 60 wpm)Attention to detailAbility to work independentlyStrong organizational skillsAbility to meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)Internet connectionReliable computerQuiet work environmentPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
