Our client, a well-established employee-owned (ESOP) mechanical contractor
, is expanding their Columbus operations and is seeking a
Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily and commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
This is a long-term opportunity with a company known for strong leadership, consistent backlog, and a culture that truly rewards performance and ownership.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Manage mechanical construction projects from kickoff through final turnover
• Oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and material procurement
• Coordinate closely with field leadership, owners, architects, and engineers
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
• Ensure safety, quality, and contract compliance on all assigned projects
• Support change management, cost forecasting, and project reporting
Projects
• Multifamily (ground-up and large-scale renovations)
• Commercial projects (office, mixed-use, healthcare, light industrial, etc.)
What They’re Looking For
• Experience as a
Mechanical Construction Project Manager
• Background in HVAC, piping, plumbing, or full mechanical scopes
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and contracts
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects forward
• Open to relocating to Columbus, OH
