Office or Remote Medical Customer Service Representative
GSS Lake Forest Home Care is a leading provider of in-home healthcare services in the Lake Forest area. We are now seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join our team as an Office/Remote Medical Customer Service Representative.In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible care and support, both in-person and remotely. Your main responsibilities will include answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks related to patient care.Key Responsibilities:
Respond to incoming calls and inquiries from patients and their families with professionalism and empathy
Schedule appointments and coordinate with caregivers to ensure timely services for patients
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information
Assist in the coordination of transportation for patients as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
Previous experience in customer service or healthcare is a plus
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is highly desired
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Empathetic and patient nature
Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
Flexibility to work in the office and remotely as needed
Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism
