Position: Tax Attorney Company: Rupp Pfalzgraf LLC Location: Buffalo, NY or Remote Position Type: Part-time or Full-time Overview: Rupp Pfalzgraf LLC is a dynamic and rapidly growing law firm with a national client base. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Attorney to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with clients on complex tax matters related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), succession planning, and a variety of business law transactions. With our commitment to strategic growth, we are looking to add 1-3 accomplished tax attorneys to our practice over the next year. Key Responsibilities • Provide expert legal advice and counsel on tax-related issues to clients nationwide. • Represent sophisticated firm clients in implementing effective tax-driven structures for corporate and real estate transactions and advise clients on New York State and federal tax matters. • Assist clients in structuring and executing M&A transactions focusing on tax efficiency and compliance. • Develop and implement tax strategies for business succession planning. • Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals on business law transactions to ensure seamless integration of tax considerations. • Maintain and grow client relationships, delivering exceptional service and value. • Stay informed on the latest developments in tax law and apply them to client matters. • Mentor and provide guidance to junior attorneys as needed. Qualifications • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Admitted to practice law in New York State the New York State. • 5-15 years of experience practicing tax law, preferably with a focus on business transactions. • CPA certification or an LLM in tax law is desirable but not required. • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. • Ability to manage complex projects and work collaboratively in a team environment. • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
