Position: Civil Litigation / Healthcare Defense Associate
Salary: $135,000 β $200,000+ (based on experience)

β’ Stable Client Base β Long-standing clients, including direct HMO relationships like Kaiser.

β’ Handle a variety of civil defense litigation with a focus on healthcare and medical malpractice cases.
β’ Manage matters independently with full ownership while collaborating with a supportive team.
β’ Opportunities to take cases to arbitration and trial.
β’ Exposure to licensing issues, general liability claims, and medical-based disputes.
β’ Work with experienced trial attorneys who are committed to developing and promoting their team.
Salary & Perks:
β’ Competitive base salary: $135,000 β $200,000+ depending on level
β’ Quarterly bonuses: $75/hour for all billables over 1,900 annually (calculated quarterly, not cumulative)
β’ Billables: 1,900 minimum annually (~158 hours/month)
β’ Remote first: 100% remote work, with no mandatory office requirement
β’ Mentorship and hands-on development, despite a high-volume practice
β’ Long-term growth opportunities within a highly regarded defense team
Requirements:
β’ 2β10 years litigation experience (civil litigation, insurance defense, or general liability).
β’ California Bar admission required (other West Coast states may be considered).
