Network Management Consultant

The Network Management Consultant will support provider recruitment and contracting processes, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with providers, while also managing provider termination processes. Responsibilities Providing support to the provider recruitment and contracting process to ensure strategic coverage of providers for assigned territory Small to mid-size contract negotiations for small hospitals, physicians and physician groups Developing and maintaining relationships with providers Provide support for complex hospital and physician contracting activities Handle the provider termination process Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory, including overnight stays Skills Bachelor's degree and at least one year experience developing and negotiating provider contracts OR 5 years managed care operations experience handling independent work with at least one year experience developing and negotiating provider contracts Meets deadlines and work well under pressure Verbal and written communication skills, organizational and planning skills PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Analytical skills Ability and willingness to travel within assigned territory, including overnight stays Bachelor's degree in business Project Management experience Company Overview Health Care Service Corporation is a customer-owned health insurance company.
