Network and Security Engineer

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work directly with customers to assess requirements, propose solutions, and lead implementations from start to finish. Responsibilities Design and Implement Solutions: Architect, configure, and deploy secure network infrastructures, including Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and wide area communications (wired and wireless). Security Expertise: Lead around major platforms such as Aruba, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Cisco. Migration and Integration: Plan and execute migrations for network and security systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Client Engagement: Work directly with clients to assess requirements, propose tailored solutions, and deliver end-to-end implementations. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues, maintaining high availability and reliability. Documentation: Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and change management plans. Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging technologies and participate in ongoing training to maintain expertise in advanced networking and security solutions. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional customer experience. Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience working with wired and wireless technologies Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust network and security architectures Expertise in designing, configuring, and migrating Firewalls, Routers, Switches, and wide area networking (both wired and wireless) Proven experience with Aruba/HPE and Palo Alto Networks solutions Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure, multitask across simultaneous projects, and meet deadlines Flexible, tenacious, highly self-motivated, and committed to achieving goals Although not mandatory, candidates with experience in Cisco, Fortinet, and Juniper solutions would be preferred.
