Mutual Fund Accountant

U.S. Bank Corp is looking for an experienced Mutual Fund Accountant to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service, has a strong understanding of mutual fund accounting, and is highly organized. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 3+ years of experience in a mutual fund accounting role. The Mutual Fund Accountant will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and researching discrepancies. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Research and investigate discrepancies in financial statements. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Analyze and interpret financial data. Develop and implement processes and procedures for mutual fund accounting. Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Utilize strong problem-solving skills to identify and address issues. Communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders. Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
