About the position

The Music & Entertainment Manager will play a vital role in sourcing, negotiating, managing, and maximizing the execution and performance of sponsorships across music and entertainment. You will oversee our artist endorsement initiatives within the framework of the annual marketing plan. You will manage relationships with artists, managers, and record labels to boost consumer awareness and drive sale. You will identify, develop, and manage partnerships with music festivals and venues to amplify brand visibility and strengthen consumer engagement. You will collaborate internally with sales, marketing, and finance as well as externally with distributors to align our business goals and maximize sales.

Responsibilities
• Develop and manage Stateside’s annual partnership strategy within music festivals and venues.
• Manage relationships across the live music ecosystem, including festival producers, venue operators, concessionaires, and distributors.
• Oversee the execution and performance of sponsorship assets to drive sales.
• Scout and identify artists for future endorsements.
• Support artist deliverables and deal flow execution.
• Cultivate relationships with record labels, management groups, publishing houses, and recording studios.
• Direct brand seeding programs across various levels of the music industry.
• Collaborate internally with sales, marketing, and finance to ensure cohesive execution and reporting.
• Address and resolve partnership issues to protect investments and maximize sales.
• Provide regular ROI reporting, asset utilization, and event performance.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in music business, marketing, communications, ora related field.
• 3+ years of professional work experience within the music industry.
• Proven success managing partnerships surrounding large-scale festivals or concert venues.
• Established contacts and relationships within the music industry.
• Exceptional strategic and analytical skills, with a talent for translating data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of brand marketing and consumer engagement within live events.
• Creative mindset with a passion for music.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Nice-to-haves
• Master’s degree in music business, marketing, communications, ora related field.
• Experience in the alcohol industry.
