Job Description:
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
Develop and enhance quantitative and factor-based investment strategies for global clients
Investigate, explore, and identify tools, techniques, and metrics to enhance portfolio value-add
Manage information, including data and analytics, to inform investment decisions
Participate in the development and evolution of alpha and portfolio construction strategies
Perform rigorous research and statistical analysis to drive strategy development and ongoing management
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including optimization techniques
Proficiency in coding languages such as R, Python, or other relevant languages
Experience working in cloud-based environments, such as AWS (a plus)
Excellent knowledge of econometrics, statistics, and time-series analysis
Familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Compustat, Worldscope, DataStream) and risk and optimization tools (e.g., Axioma, Barra)
A passion for quantitative, research-driven investment management
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
A results-oriented mindset, with a strong emphasis on high-quality execution
An excellent academic background, with a working towards an advanced degree in a quantitative field (economics, finance, computer science, or applied mathematics)
