MRI Instructor (PT)

We are seeking an MRI instructor who will teach for the Imaging Academy at Passaic County Community College Center for Continuing Education & Workforce Development. This person will be responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:Preparing course plans and materialsDelivering courseMonitoring progress/attendanceAdvising studentsRecording grades and submitting reportsThis is a part-time hourly position. Evening Class Instruction via Zoom. The class consists of 66 course hours.Qualifications:Three (3) years of experience as an MRI Technologist at an imaging facility/hospital/clinic2 year experience teaching in a MRI-accredited programExperience teaching similar courses at a higher education instituteExperience teaching onlineStrong organizational skillsProficiency in ZoomGraduation from an accredited program in the specialty field or subject area.Bachelor’s Degree in related field (preferred)ARRT Certified in diagnostic radiography and MRThe completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.Compensation: The hourly pay for this position is $50.Benefits:New Jersey Sick Leave: Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year.
