Learning & Development Associate
Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, through its subsidiary Columbia Threadneedle Investments, is seeking a Learning & Development Associate to support high impact learning programs within the North America Sales and Marketing organization. The role involves designing, delivering, and measuring sales learning initiatives to enhance team member capability and performance.ResponsibilitiesProvide day to day operational and program support across the full sales learning lifecycle, ensuring accurate execution and follow‑through on learning initiativesDevelop, maintain and monitor accurate learning activity and performance tracking reportsManage scheduling across multiple stakeholders (SMEs, sales leaders, new hires, L&D team)Prepare agendas, track assignments, organize logistics, and support communication flowUpdate, format, and maintain training materials (slide decks, handouts, facilitator guides)Create and maintain how‑to guides, FAQs, and process documentationAssist in developing surveys, intake forms, and basic assessmentsBuild a working knowledge of the firm’s products, sales process, and L&D acumen to be accountable for creating and maintaining content that is used by the sales organization and within in-person and virtual training programsCoordinate all scheduling and communications related to sales new‑hire onboarding programsSupport administration of onboarding programs, including session tracking and proactive follow‑upAttend onboarding sessions to take notes, capture action items, and ensure smooth deliveryFacilitate training workshops as assignedPrepare and deliver progress reports for managers and leadershipManage Allego video‑based learning activities, review of learner participation and performance, and active collaboration with managers and learning leaders to support coaching and developmentDevelop, maintain, and monitor learning activity dashboards and performance-tracking reportsAnalyze participation, completion, and results data, and translate findings into clear, professional reports for managers and senior leadershipEnsure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all reporting deliverablesUse reporting insights to support continuous improvement of learning programsSkillsRelevant prior professional experience, demonstrating accountability, learning agility, and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentComfort interacting professionally with business partners at all levelsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceWillingness and motivation to obtain the Series 7 license within the first yearStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn new toolsPrior experience or demonstrated interest in Learning & Development, training, sales enablement, or educationExperience in financial services, sales organizations, or other complex/regulated or corporate environments strongly preferredFamiliarity with learning technologies such as LMS platforms or video-based learning tools a plusBenefitsVacation timeSick time401(k)Health, dental and life insurancesCompany OverviewAt Ameriprise Financial, we have been helping people feel more confident about their financial future for over 130 years.
