Mortgage Loan Processing Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processing Manager to grow our loan processing team with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end mortgage loan processing operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards including FNMA (Fannie Mae), TILA (Truth in Lending Act), and Fair Housing regulations. Your expertise will drive efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional service in mortgage origination, underwriting support, and loan servicing. Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the mortgage loan processing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all loan documentation and approvals
• Oversee the review and verification of loan applications, including credit analysis, escrow details, and basic math calculations to assess borrower eligibility
• Collaborate closely with underwriters to facilitate smooth loan approval processes while adhering to FNMA guidelines and bank policies
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations such as TILA, Fair Housing laws, and other contractual obligations throughout all stages of loan processing
• Monitor and improve operational workflows related to loan origination, mortgage servicing, and contract management
• Conduct regular training sessions on mortgage regulations, underwriting standards, and best practices for loan officers and processing staff
• Maintain comprehensive records of all loan transactions, audits, and regulatory reports with precision and confidentiality
Qualifications
• Proven experience in mortgage loan processing or related financial services roles, with a strong understanding of FNMA guidelines and underwriting procedures
• Demonstrated knowledge of loan origination processes, credit analysis, escrow procedures, and mortgage servicing operations
• Familiarity with TILA regulations, fair housing laws, contracts management, and banking standards
• Strong skills in basic math calculations, 10 key typing proficiency, and attention to detail for accurate data entry
• Excellent leadership abilities to motivate teams while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Ability to interpret complex financial documents and perform detailed credit analysis efficiently
• Prior experience as a loan officer or in a similar role is highly desirable for understanding the full lifecycle of mortgage lending
