Position: Morning processing (Backroom) Overview Morning processing (Backroom) role at The TJX Companies, Inc. – Home Goods Store 0494, Vienna, VA. This position has a starting pay range of $13.00 to $13.50 per hour and depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities • Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with all customers and embodying customer experience principles. • Maintain a clean and organized store environment; adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. • May be cross-trained to work in multiple store areas to support business needs. • Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers. • Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect. • Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back according to established procedures. • Promote credit and loyalty programs. • Maintain merchandising philosophy and follow standards; prepare merchandise for the sales floor per procedures. • Participate in store recovery and maintain overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store. • Provide and receive recognition and constructive feedback; adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures. • Support shrink reduction goals and participate in safety initiatives to maintain a safe environment. • Other duties as assigned. Who We’re Looking For • Excellent customer service skills. • Flexible schedule to support business needs. • Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes in direction or unexpected situations. • Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation. • Works effectively with peers and supervisors. • Retail customer experience preferred.
