Job Description:
We are seeking a committed and engaging General Education Math Teacher to support students in grades 6–12 in a New Orleans area school district. This role requires designing standards-based math lessons, managing classroom instruction, and helping students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You’ll work collaboratively with other educators and administrators to track student progress and provide targeted interventions as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field
• Valid Louisiana teaching license with appropriate Math endorsement
• Demonstrated experience teaching math in a classroom setting
• Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills
• Must meet all state and district background check and fingerprinting requirements
