Migration Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Tenant-to-Tenant Migration Specialist who is a Quest-certified expert to support ongoing Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration initiatives. This contractor role focuses on designing, executing, and supporting complex migrations using Quest migration tools, ensuring secure, efficient, and low-impact transitions for end users and business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesTenant-to-Tenant Migration Delivery• Lead and execute Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.• Design migration approaches that minimize business disruption while maintaining security and compliance.Quest Tool Expertise• Serve as a subject matter expert in Quest tenant migration tools.• Perform migration planning, assessments, coexistence setup, and post-migration validation.Planning, Validation & Risk Management• Develop migration runbooks, schedules, and cutover plans.• Conduct pre-migration readiness checks and post-migration validation.• Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies and resolve migration issues as they arise.Collaboration & Documentation• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.• Provide concise technical documentation, status updates, and transition materials.
