Job description: OverviewHow you can make a differenceThis Manager Software Engineering is responsible for leading a team supporting Business Services Integration (BSI) in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including coding, testing, integration, deployment, delivery automation, support, and monitoring. Specifically this team will be supporting IVR APIs, Partner integrations and Partner APIs.What you’ll be doing

Manages and carries out the personnel actions for direct reports, including but not limited to hiring and
scheduling; training and evaluating; coaching and managing performance; making salary, merit, or other
compensation recommendations for team of direct reports; and making recommendations and/or taking corrective
or disciplinary action as appropriate * Lead systems design, architecture, and scaling discussions. Own the development and sustainment of yourteam’s applications and tech infrastructure. * Develop, monitor, and drive key metrics demonstrating health and performance for your team’s software. Driveprocess and quality of service improvements. * Manage the agile development process and methodology to maximize value for your stakeholders and ourbusiness, with a high degree of precision and quality. * Collaborates closely with Product teams to align on project deliverables.

Work with Quality Center of Excellence to drive quality in team
Maintain a level of technical proficiency and currency with new and developing technology in the software
engineering field by participating with and maintaining memberships with professional work groups, attending
trainings, seminars, or other technical-related conferences or seminars; interfacing with piers; or reading trade
periodicals or journals.What you will need to be successful

Knowledge of Software architecture, development, testing, and support or closely related field as normally obtained
through the completion of a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, and/or Computer
Science, or equivalent work experience. * 5 to 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a management role.

Experience includes enterprise level application platforms utilizing various software development, product solution
design, development, testing, and release cycles utilizing SDLC practices. * In depth experience with web application development in a multi-tenant environment – prefer experience withMicrosoft technology stack including .NET, SQL Server, as well as messaging technologies. * Azure Development experience is required

Experience with Partner API integrations is required.

of Excellence, etc. to bring diverse viewpoints and goals together. * A strong drive for innovation and improvement - always pushing, encouraging and enabling your team to improvetheir tools, processes and culture, keeping them agile and innovative with lightweight processes. * Ability to lead, and mentor team members towards implementing varying levels of software and system level designpatterns and principles, including BDD (Behavioral Driven Design), DDD (Domain Driven Design), and Object-Oriented Design. * Demonstrated ability to hire, motivate, grow, empower, and performance manage, with proven ability to inspire teammembers and to drive positive change throughout the organization * Excellent communication and organization skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize work, set expectations withstakeholders, communicate progress, negotiate dependencies, and resolve conflicts. * Experienced leading distributed and remote agile teams.
