About the position
Responsibilities
• Create and deliver insights and recommendations using various data sources.
• Monitor the field execution of vendor programs.
• Stay informed of analytic best practices across the industry.
• Analyze and report data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions.
• Track category performance including sales, profits, margins, and market share.
• Develop, communicate, execute, and monitor performance metrics and goals.
• Create and deliver effective reports using POS data and syndicated data.
• Analyze supply chain to evaluate and recommend supplier performance.
• Understand and apply customer, consumer, and industry insights using market research data.
• Ensure superior client satisfaction through deep analytics and team problem solving.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree and experience within the CPG sector; Adult Beverage preferred.
• Understanding of National Chain Sales, Retail, and Distributor operations.
• Expertise in category management principles and shopper/consumer insights.
• High level understanding of Category Management processes and practices.
• Assertive leadership and decision-making skills with high energy.
• Preferred experience with Syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI) and Internal Shipment Data.
• Strong foundation in business fundamentals and business finance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and quantitative analysis skills.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in the Adult Beverage industry.
• Familiarity with market research methodologies.
• Ability to collaborate with external retail customers and key suppliers.
