Mental Health Group Therapy Curriculum Developer
Jones Wellness Center is seeking a Mental Health Curriculum Developer to help refine, expand, organize, and strengthen our trauma-informed group therapy curriculum for adult and adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).
This role involves transforming existing lesson material into cohesive, engaging, and well-structured group content that can be effectively facilitated by therapists in an open group treatment setting.
Responsibilities:
⢠Refine and improve existing mental health and trauma curriculum content
⢠Expand lessons with psychoeducation, discussion prompts, experiential exercises, and skills integration
⢠Structure curriculum to allow clinicians to quickly identify and select appropriate lessons
⢠Reduce repetition and improve overall flow between sessions
⢠Integrate evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, somatic approaches, and trauma-informed care
⢠Develop curriculum appropriate for both adults and adolescents in an open-group IOP setting
⢠Maintain consistent formatting, tone, and structure across curriculum materials
Ideal Candidate:
⢠Background in mental health, counseling, psychology, social work, or mental health
⢠Strong understanding of trauma, nervous system regulation, anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation
⢠Experience creating psychoeducational or therapy group content preferred
⢠Able to write clearly, organize complex topics, and create emotionally resonant material
⢠Familiarity with ACT, CBT, DBT, IFS, somatic work, or trauma-informed treatment strongly preferred
Position Type:
Contract / Freelance (potential for ongoing work)
