[Remote] Executive Director -- Anonymous Organization
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NRG Consulting Group is supporting a national climate initiative in search of a senior executive leader. This role will guide the organization in aligning and activating state and local climate leadership while building coalitions through strategic partnerships. Responsibilities • Lead a fast-moving, collaborative effort focused on aligning and activating state and local climate leadership • Work closely with governors, mayors, and senior partners across sectors • Shape how U.S. subnational leaders engage both domestically and internationally • Build a coalition through strategic partnerships with global allies • Set direction, build a high-performing team, and advance coordinated action in a complex political landscape Skills • Experience in climate-related work • Deep familiarity with state government and/or mayoral leadership • Strong relational credibility with senior leaders and funders • Experience working in or alongside large coalitions or networks • Ability to operate in ambiguity • Ability to synthesize complex input • Ability to translate strategy into action • International engagement experience Company Overview • We build teams, so you can build movements.
