Mental Health Crisis Call Center Worker (Full-Time EVENING, Remote – WI)
DescriptionNorthwest Connections is hiring Mental Health Crisis Workers to provide 24/7 telephone crisis support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies. This remote, full-time evening shift role focuses on crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and behavioral health support in compliance with Wisconsin DHS 34 and Chapter 51.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to mental health crisis and suicide prevention hotline callsConduct risk assessments and determine appropriate interventionsProvide emotional support, crisis counseling, and referralsDocument services in Electronic Health Records (EHR)Work independently while collaborating with the crisis response teamSchedule & AvailabilityFull-time: 40 hours per weekA minimum of 4 shifts per month must fall on a Saturday or Sunday.2 holiday shifts per year requiredEvening shifts: 3pm–11pm or 4pm–12amPay & Shift Differentials$21.00/hour+$2.65/hour weekend differentialWork LocationRemote / Work From HomeMust reside in WisconsinRequires personal computer, high-speed internet, and private workspaceBenefitsHealth InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Wellness ProgramProfessional Development AssistancePaid Time Off (PTO)Requirements2+ years of experience in mental health, behavioral health, or crisis servicesBachelor’s degree in human services preferred (or equivalent experience)Strong skills in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and multitaskingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with computers and EHR systemsAbility to remain calm in high-pressure, emergency situations
